I ordered 4 different sports bras from Amazon and this is the hands-down winner. I am an A cup but wide around the ribcage (36 or 38) and this is perfect. It's supportive, comfortable, lined (no more headlights at the gym), adjustable at the back and at the straps. Perfect! FYI, I also bought the Vixen A/B, which is also nice, but if you're an A it's a little looser in the cups, so it's more of a low-moderate impact bra. Still, it's comfortable, lined, and makes you look like you have a bust -- so I'm keeping it. The Alexis is TERRIBLE if you're 36 or 38 around the ribcage. It's so tight around the bottom that it must be designed for anorexics with huge implants. I actually couldn't get it off. Seriously. I thought I might have to cut it off with a scissors. But the Vero (aka Venus) is the best sports bra I've ever worn. Also, if you go to the moving comfort website, they have more detailed measuring instructions and sizing charts.

I hate bras and only wear them when exercising or dressed for a ball. I do the former far more than the latter. This bra is just great. I'm hardly aware of having it on while exercising. More importantly, it keeps things from moving around and causing me pain. I find when I do exercises such as pull-ups, I tend to pull the coopers ligaments and there is pain for several days. This is what prompted me to buy this bra. It gives great lateral support as well as vertical. It both compresses and encapsulates, which is great for many women and many types of exercises.I wear a 38A-B, depending on the bra. I bought a large and can only hook it on the first hooks. I wouldn't want it a bit tighter and may opt to buy the XL next time around. I certainly don't want a bra that's too large but they tend to shrink when washed. So I suggest you consider buying the larger size according to your measurements.A sports bra is a very important accessory for the active women, regardless of her size. I used to ride a horse without a bra and talk about pain! Never again.For the women with a small cup but otherwise large chest, this is a wonderful sports bra. It's also very handsome and the straps are great. I bought the black with white accents. You won't even know the straps are there.I bought mine at Running Warehouse for around $24. They give you free two-day shipping both ways. Easy returns, exchanges or refunds. Check retailmenot for promo codes. I use this bra for horseback riding, jogging, and high impact exercise. It provides excellent support, and it is comfortable. I often choose it over my regular bras for running errands.
