I was looking for an alternative to the Patagonia Barely Bra, which I love except for the "headlight factor". The Handful is great for a full coverage, extra comfortable, soft strap bra, and still makes me appear shapely. I prefer to take the removable inserts out for everyday wear, and I still look like I'm wearing a regular underwire bra and I can get away with wearing it to work. I wear a 36A and the medium fits well. It fits better without the inserts.

I like the look of it and the feel of the material. Also, I like that the padding is removable, which makes it easier to wash without the bra getting mishapen in the washing machine. The mesh netting bag that it came in is supposed to be used for washing the bra and pads, but the first time I used it, everything came out of the bag. Also, I think that the size runs small. I ordered mine according to the sizing chart, but if I order another one, I'll go one size up and maybe the claim that this bra doesn't flatten will be true.UPDATE: Since my first review above, I've purchased two more (in different colors), but took my own advice and bought one size up. Now I'm giving this 4 stars (up from 3 stars).

I bought this bra because nude / beige colored bras that haveracerback AND a LITTLE padding (not alot) are impossible to find.This one is almost okay. I'm a 34B and I got the small. That'sthe right size. However there is no "lift" if you need it.This bra is for firm/dense breasts - only. I would NEVER repeatNEVER EVER jog in this. Are you kidding? I wear Enell for that,Enell 00 and this, this is NO Enell. However it's good enough tothrow on for yoga (I don't do yoga) or a walk, or to wear under at-shirt. Not thrilled because the straps, just as they come over myback DIG like the dickens (nice way of putting it). Some reasonthey couldn't have made wider softer / thicker straps? Can'twait for the upgrade. I just ordered it in nude ONLY so I'd havesomething to wear under white t-shirts. Won't order more becauseat this price they are over-priced and well, the padding(which isnice) is removable so just wash, hang and wear it again. Finally,I don't have to have a drawer of bras. So there's the no-lifts/straps hurt thing and the nice pads (without them the bras doesnothing) - and the racerback thing (good). Mixed review. In thefuture I'd like to see wider straps / not really thicker and alsomake them adjustable. Yes, I want the world.------ Update - next day --- so disappointed. Thought I'd "get used to"the pain and red marks on my shoulder (tops) but no, not for me...I might even have the straps changed or change them to somethingmore merciful myself... the nude that will be arriving will begoing back if I can't figure something out. I keep trying to findthe bra that works...and keep sending them back. When will theyask us what we want and make that? ---- Buying things shouldn'tcreate more problems for us. Really. Wider softer straps anda much heftier band is needed.Jog in this? Can't stop laughing. I'm ONLY a full 34B.Honest. Grumble grumble.
